How PIN Protection Works

QR codes on your objects can be scanned by anyone with a phone – but without the correct PIN, they can't submit anything. This prevents abuse while keeping the process frictionless for authorized users.

Staff PIN Share one PIN with all employees. They scan, enter PIN, submit. No individual accounts needed.
Technician PIN Different PIN for external service providers. You know which submissions came from vendors.
Optional PIN protection is optional per object. Some items may not need it.

Questions

What counts as an "object"?
Any physical item you want to track: IT equipment (servers, routers, workstations), machines (HVAC, elevators, generators), tools, vehicles, rooms, or infrastructure (fire extinguishers, electrical panels). Each gets a unique QR code.
Do I pay for employees who submit via QR?
No. QR submissions are unlimited and free. The people who scan codes and submit reports don't need accounts and don't count toward your user limit. You only pay for admin users who access the dashboard.
What about external technicians?
Same thing – they use QR codes to log their visits. No accounts, no extra cost. You can give them a separate PIN so you know which submissions came from external vendors.

What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and ACH bank transfers. Enterprise customers can request invoicing with net payment terms.
